Sasha + Kurt had the dreamiest weather for their Chelsea Piers wedding. 

The forecast looked so dismal leading up to the date, and since Sasha + Kurt were relying on sunshine for a stunning sunset backdrop for their ceremony, we all had our fingers and toes and everything crossed hoping for beautiful weather last second. And holy cow, we got it. The sky was crystal clear blue, which gave me the opportunity to flex my harsh light muscles and show off the perfect day we were given (see those portraits below!!)

A Chelsea Piers wedding is such a solid choice for so many reasons— the staff is incredible and so helpful, the windows are absolutely massive (hello natural light?) and you don’t have to worry at all about weather since it’s all indoors. The views of the water during sunset are beyond dreamy. Sasha + Kurt chose to get ready at the Maritime Hotel, which gave Wes Anderson vibes in the most fun way to contrast their sleek and modern wedding day looks.

All around I absolutely loved this day and can’t wait to share these photos with you.
