Marina + Rafael’s Lisbon Portugal session was nothing short of a dream.

We started in a gorgeous apartment with a romantic terrace, and headed out in to the streets to play around and drink wine on the sidewalk. For their Lisbon Portugal session, these two totally embodied the vibes of the city and brought romance and joy to the streets. Rafael + Marina are also wedding photographers in Portugal, based out of a gorgeous tiny coastal surf town called Ericeira. Their connection is so beautiful and was beyond easy to photograph.

In Lisbon, it’s common to see people outside of bars sitting on the sidewalk drinking wine or beers, and I knew I wanted to incorporate this unique part of European culture in to their session since this isn’t something you can do in the US! The apartment we photographed in was very European and the neighborhood was filled with little coffee shops, restaurants, and bars– so after frolicking in the street and exploring the surrounding area and all of the beautiful hilltops and vistas Lisbon is so famous for, we went to Meia Porta for a few glasses of wine and some traditional Portugese tapas.
